As one of our main sponsors Moonee Valley Real Estate will be connecting to more loyal and dedicated members than any other local agency, ensuring the Moonee Valley brand gains ongoing exposure and recognition.
As sponsor Moonee Valley Real Estate has agreed to give all members an incentive to list / sell and lease properties with them. This agreement includes:
LIST & SELL a property with Moonee Valley Real Estate and the club will receive $250.
LEASE a property with Moonee Valley Real Estate and the club will receive $50 plus a reduced rate if listed with another agency.

CANNING RESERVE PAVILION REDEVELOPMENT OPENS. The redeveloped Canning reserve pavilion was officially opened on Sunday 10th July 2011. Mayor John Sipek together with fellow Rose Ward councillors Shirley Cornish and Ange Kenos were present for this momentous event. The Avondale Heights Football Club would like to thank all of our ward councillors for acknowledging the need for an upgrade to our facilities and for representing us all so well in making the redevelopment happen. Other special guests for the official opening included Marc Turri and Ian Price from the EDFL, Len Villani from the Calder Cannons and Darryl Colling from AFL Victoria.
The pavilion upgrade makes the player facilities the best in the EDFL. Marc Turri General Manager of the EDFL believes that the new facilities will be the benchmark in the EDFL competition. The pavilion redevelopment includes upgraded facilities for the home team, new change rooms for the visiting team and umpires, storage space and change rooms for Auskick. The Avondale Heights Auskick Program who will be relocating to Canning Reserve in 2012.

Avondale Heights Football Club NEW COMMITTEE ANNOUNCED |
The new committee for season 2012 was announced at the Annual General Meeting on Sunday 16th October 2011. Ray Micallef Awarded Outstanding Citizen Award by Moonee Valley Council
The Spirit of Moonee Valley Community Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements and contributions of the citizens of Moonee Valley. It is about recognising those people in the community whose service and contributions have had a significant effect on the life or lives of others. Ray was a finalist for Citizen of the Year and was awarded an Outstanding Service Award for his 15 years service at the Avondale Heights Football Club and being the driving force in the pavilion upgrade. Ray has donated his $250 prize towards new football jumpers for our U18 team in 2012. |
