The Avondale Heights Football Club is to adopt the Racial and Religious Tolerance Policy as established by AFL Victoria and is committed to an environment which promotes racial and religious tolerance by prohibiting certain conduct and providing a means of redress for victims of racial and religious vilification and/or racial discrimination.

SMOKE FREE POLICY

The Avondale Heights Football Club recognised that passive smoking (inhaling second-hand smoke) is hazardous to health and that non-smokers should be protected from tobacco smoke. Accordingly the Avondale Heights Football Club has Adopted a Smoke Free Policy to help protect people’s health. |

DISABILITY ACTION PLAN

The Avondale Heights Football Club has adopted a set of Mandatory and Enforceable Codes of Conduct as established by AFL Victoria for all players, coaches, parents and spectators to ensure that they behave and promote the best possible environment |

The Avondale Heights Football Club recognizes that it is unlawful to treat a person with a disability less favorably than a person who does not have a disability, in the same or similar circumstances. Such discrimination is covered by the Commonwealth Disability Discrimination Act 1992 and the Equal Opportunity Act 1995. |
