SOCIAL FUNCTION CALENDAR

 

The social calendar for season 2010 will be an exciting one. Watch this space for announcements of some major functions for all club members. 

 

Club functions not only raise money for the Club, but are also a great opportunity to get to know fellow Club members.

PAST PLAYERS CLUB REGISTER

The Avondale Heights Football Club would like to establish a past players register. The register will enable our club to contact you and keep you in touch with the happenings at our club and send you information about club events.

 

We would like to also have a past players day for players who played for the Heights at any time over the last 45 years. If you played for the Heights any time in the past please email your details. The history of the Avondale Heights Football Club is of the utmost importance to our football club and an opportunity to celebrate with past players who helped forge our successful club will be a wonderful event.

MOTHERS DAY STALL

Date:             25th April 2010

Time:             9:00am—4:00pm During Junior Games

Venue:         Avondale Heights Football Club Social Rooms

                      Canning Reserve, Avondale Heights

 

The Avondale Heights Football Club Mothers Day Stall. There will be a variety of stalls including Jewelry, Children’s Books, Greeting Cards, Craft, Lingerie, Skin Care, Tarot Reading and Candles. Why not take this opportunity to buy your Mother’s Day Gift.

Entry Fee of $2:00 

Tea, Coffee, and Nibblies provided. Please invite a friend and enjoy a break from the footy.

CLUB ANNUAL BALL

Date:             Saturday 26th June 2010

Time:             6.30 p.m.

Venue:         Melrose Receptions.

The Annual Ball will be held at a Melrose Melbourne Reception. This event is always well attended by club members from both the junior and senior sections of our football club. This is the biggest annual club function. The cost of the annual ball includes 3 courses, beer, wine, soft drinks and this year, a live band.

CLUB AUCTION NIGHT

Date:             Saturday 24th July 2010

Time:             7.30 p.m.

                      Canning Reserve, Avondale Heights

 

The Avondale Heights Football Club Auction night is a major event for our football club. A full range of auction items are available from furniture, holidays, sports memorabilia, clothing, jewelry, kitchen appliances, paintings, home ware, etc.

This event is open to all players, junior parents and supporters.

HEIGHTONIANS MARQUEE DAY — 2010

Date:             Saturday 14th August

Time:             12.00 noon

Venue:         AHFC Wing during Round 17 Clash

                      (strictly members only)

The 2010 Avondale Heights Football Club HEIGHTONIANS Membership Marquee day will be held on Saturday 14th. August. All members will be able to enjoy watching the Heights from the marquee, located on the wing. The event will be fully catered for, for all members.

SENIORS RESERVES UNDER 18’S

PRESENTATION NIGHT

LEGENDS DAY and 45 year reunion Sunday 28 March 2010

Time:             All Day starting at 9:00 a.m.

Venue:         Avondale Heights Football Club

                      Canning Reserve, Avondale Heights

This will be the 45 year reunion day for all past players and supporters. See Matthew Lloyd play in the big white V as captain of Legends Team 1. See Chris Johnson captain of Legends team 2.  Junior matches to be played. Jason Singh, lead singer of Taxi Ride to perform live. Nominations for teams of the decade to be announced. Legends Major Raffle to be drawn. Auction after game. More information to be made available in the new year.

CASINO ROYALE AND COCKTAIL NIGHT

Time:             7.00 p.m.

Venue:         Avondale Heights Football Club Social Rooms

                      Canning Reserve, Avondale Heights

Come to this fun night and try the assortment of cocktail drinks. Usual bar drinks will also be available. Casino games available. Music on the night to be announced. More information will be made available closer to the event.

PLAYER FUNCTION– DRESS NOT TO IMPRESS
