The Avondale Heights Football Club is proud to announce the appointment of Rick Horwood as Senior Coach for season 2017 and 2018.
Rick’s coaching credentials include:
• Senior Coach - Sunbury Football Club - 2011-2016 including three grand final appearances and a premiership in 2012
• Senior Assistant Coach - Keilor Football Club - 2009-2010
• Senior Assistant Coach - Taylors Lakes Football Club – 2008
Rick’s appointment was finalised this week after an extensive selection process and the Avondale Heights Football Club is excited that Rick has accepted the coaching role and look forward to welcoming Rick to the Heights.
Rick has already started preparing for the journey ahead and looks forward to meeting the playing group, club members and building new relationships. Rick’s objective will also be to build the player depth of the club and to create sustained success.
