The Avondale Heights Football Club congratulate all of our junior teams on the completion of the 2016 season. The season finished in spectacular fashion yesterday with two of our teams winning their respective grand finals.
AVONDALE HEIGHTS U10’S DIVISION 2 WIN PREMIERSHIP
The Under 10's Division 2 defeated Essendon Doutta Stars by four points with the final score being AH 3:5:23 defeating EDS 3:1:19. A fantastic result for a team who led the way all season. Well done players, coaches, volunteers and parents.
AVONDALE HEIGHTS U12’S DIVISION 3 WIN PREMIERSHIP
The Under 12’s Division 3 defeated St Francis by four points with the final score AH 2:7:19 defeating ST.F 2:3:15. After the Heights were defeated by St Francis in the 2nd Semi Final two weeks ago, they bounced back to win the Grand Final. Congratulations to players, coaches, volunteers and parents.
The two premiership are in addition to the Under10's Division 6 premiership last week. Congratulations to all of the boys and girls who represented our club so well this season and to all of the club volunteers.
