MATTHEW LLOYD INDUCTED INTO AFL HALL OF FAME

Matthew Lloyd was inducted into the Australian Football League Hall of Fame this week. The Avondale Heights Football Club is extremely proud of Matthew who played his junior football with the Mighty Heights.
Matthew is a great ambassador for the game and our club. He became a champion of the Essendon forward line between 1995 and 2009, kicking 926 goals in 270 games.
Named Essendon captain during the 2006-09 seasons, Lloyd won four Coleman Medals, five All Australian caps and was an integral member of the 2000 premiership team. Matthew also represented Victoria in State of Origin Football. Matthew continues to support our club today. Well done Matthew, former Avondale Heights Football Club Player
