VALE: ROBERT MISSEN

It is with deep sadness to advise that past Club President and Life Member Robert Missen passed away on Wednesday 17 April 2019. Known to his friends as Bob, he was involved at committee level for a number of years. Bob’s ultimately became president of the Avondale Heights Football Club in 1996, a position he held for three years. During this time, Bob led our club with distinction and was a great leader of our club. In 2003, Bob was inducted as a Life Member of the Avondale Heights Football Club for having rendered outstanding voluntary service for the benefit of the club over a number of years. Bob also served as President of the Avondale Heights Sporting Club in 1999.
The Avondale Heights Football Club and football family are thinking of the Missen family at this time of grief and our thoughts are with them all.

The funeral arrangements for the late Robert Missen is as follows:
Friday 26th April at St Theresa's Catholic Church . Lincoln Road Essendon. 1;30pm.
