VALE: MATT GILL

The Avondale Heights Football Club are deeply saddened by the passing of Matt Gill following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Matt was the much loved father of senior player Jalen and was a familiar friendly face around the club. Anyone who has spent time at the Avondale Heights Football Club on a Saturday, would have seen Matt proudly supporting Jalen along side Rachel and Jamacia. The Gill family have endured so much and we acknowledge their incredible strength throughout this difficult journey. On behalf of everyone at the Avondale Heights Football Club, we extend our heartfelt condolenses to Rachel, Jalen, Jamacia and all of Matt's family and loved ones. Our thoughts are with you all at this difficult time.
